Why this place stood out
Tromsø felt like travelling to the edge of the map. Snow, Arctic landscapes, long nights and northern lights make it very different from a normal European city break.
For Saki The Wanderer, the most interesting part of a trip is usually the story behind the place: how history, local life, Indian connections, film memories and traveller surprises come together in one journey.
