Why this place stood out
Istanbul is huge, chaotic, historic and unforgettable. It is a city of mosques, markets, ferries, cats and the rare feeling of standing between continents.

How I would approach this trip
Give Istanbul more time than you think. One side of the city is never the full story.
I usually prefer a realistic travel style: walking where possible, using public transport when it makes sense, keeping time for viewpoints and not turning the day into only a checklist.
